Deetken is very pleased to welcome Alp Deveci to our team! Alp joins Deetken Insight as an Associate. Alp’s areas of interest include political economics, microeconomics, and genetic algorithms.
Prior to joining Deetken, Alp worked as a Teaching Assistant where he taught first and second-year microeconomics to undergraduate students.
Alp holds a BA in Economics (2020) from the University of Guelph and an MA in Economics (2021) from Simon Fraser University. His graduation paper was about the link between elections and forest fires in developing countries.
Outside of work, you’ll find Alp playing different kinds of sports, going out to eat delicious food, and learning Korean.
