Deetken is proud to announce five new team members have joined the company in the past two months. Michael Reitsma has joined the company as a Senior Associate in Vancouver where he will support strategic initiatives for the company. Ashley Howard and Jamie Fieber have joined the company as Senior Consultants in Vancouver and California, respectively. Ashley brings more than 25 years of executive-level experience across the not-for-profit and private sectors while Jamie brings expertise in project management, change management, and business process analysis.
Additionally, Amanda Olson and Stefanie Neth join the company as Business Development Specialists, where they will support Deetken’s business development and growth. Amanda has over 20 years of experience in writing and communications roles while Stefanie has a background in business development, human resources, and recruiting.

AMANDA OLSON joins Deetken as a Business Development Specialist at Deetken. With over 20 years of experience in writing and communications roles. Ashley’s background includes public relations, journalism, investor relations, grant writing, equity crowdfunding, and marketing. Before joining Deetken, she operated her own public relations business, and specialised in sustainability initiatives following the 2008 financial crisis. Amanda holds a BA in American Studies (magna cum laude) from the University of California, Berkeley.
ASHLEY HOWARD joins the Deetken team as a Senior Consultant at Deetken. Ashley brings more than 25 years of executive-level experience across the not-for-profit and private sectors. Ashley excels in catalysing innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Prior to Deetken, Ashley co-founded and led Ride More Innovations Ltd., a globally recognized outdoor adventure retail company. Her extensive professional journey includes senior-level and board member positions at various sports, education, child/youth advocacy, and technology organisations. Notably, she served as the Managing Director of Athletics and Recreation at the University of British Columbia. Ashley holds an MBA from the University of Victoria and the EDHEC Business School in France, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Queen’s University. She is a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner.
JAMIE FIEBER joins as a Senior Consultant, she brings expertise in project management, change management, and business process analysis. Prior to Deetken, Jamie served as a Client Services Account Manager at NetLine, specialising in B2B marketing content syndication, a Service Delivery Manager at IBM Canada and as a Technical Services Supervisor and Local Area Network Administrator at West Corporation. Jamie holds a BA from the University of Oklahoma and a degree in Information Technology (Network and Internet Support Specialist) from CDI College. Additionally, she is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certified by the Project Management Institute.
MICHAEL REITSMA joins Deetken as a Senior Associate at Deetken. Michael has a background in guiding organisations through strategic initiatives, improving operational efficiency, and driving transformative change. His expertise spans a wide range of domains including strategy, operations, corporate development, marketing, risk management, major project management, finance, and innovation. Prior to joining Deetken, Michael was the head of corporate development and strategy at GCT Global Container Terminals, a leading port operator in Vancouver and New York City, and holds experience in strategy and operations within KPMG’s Management Consulting practice. Michael holds an MBA from University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, and an Executive Certificate in Technology and Operations from MIT Sloan School of Management.
STEFANIE NETH joins Deetken as a Business Development Specialist at Deetken. She brings over 15 years of experience in business development, human resources, and recruiting. Previously, she served as the Eurasia Benefits & Wellness Manager for Wayfair Germany, where she developed benefits programs across Asia and Europe and managed the company’s first Global Wellness Week. She also worked as an EU Campus Recruiting Manager, forging relationships with over 50 European universities. From 2009 to 2018, Stefanie held various roles at Back in Motion, contributing to securing its first federally funded employment program. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from the University of Calgary and an MA in Intercultural Communications from Royal Roads University.
