Deetken had an excellent time at the 2025 e-Health Conference and Tradeshow earlier this month. More than 1,000 health professionals attended the show from all across Canada to share and discuss the latest advancements in digital health.

Some of our main takeaways from this year’s conference included:

  • There are incredible new technological innovations being introduced in digital health, including virtual health solutions, that can help ease the workplace pressure being placed on clinicians.
  • Care providers continue to face the challenge of an aging population and the need to increase or even maintain service access and quality.

Deetken is proud to be at the forefront of solutions to easing the burden on Canada’s clinicians. We recently completed a review of a rural and remote physician incentive program for a provincial government that delivered recommendations to improve incentives to better attract and retain physicians, including in Indigenous communities.

And we are working with another provincial health authority to help identify potential use cases for the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to improve healthcare labour productivity. As part of this project, we recently completed a proof of concept for the use of AI to automate chart reviews.

Thank you to Deetken team members André Powell, Dara Frere, Gregor Nuhic and Marnie Seelen and Jasper Rowan from Cypress AI who supported our presence at e-Health 2025.

We look forward to next year!
