About Robin
Robin Shaban (they/them) is an Associate Partner at Deetken. An economist and policy analyst, Robin is a leading thinker on Canadian competition policy and law, and the intersection of economic, social and cultural inclusion. In addition to their role at Deetken, Robin is co-founder and chair of the Canadian Anti-Monopoly Project, a think tank dedicated to addressing pressing issues caused by monopoly power in Canada. They also serve on the board of the Toronto Association for Business & Economics (TABE) and are a fellow at Public Policy Forum, an Ottawa-based independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization that is dedicated to advancing good public policy in Canada. Robin is a recipient of The Globe and Mail’s Changemaker Award in 2021 for their work advancing social justice and competition policy.
