Deetken is excited to welcome Ruben Schneider to the team.
Ruben joined Deetken as an Associate after completing his Master’s in Economics at Simon Fraser University. Ruben is a curious person and his areas of interest are diverse. He is particularly passionate about deriving and effectively communicating insights from data. To realize this passion, he combines strong quantitative and analytical skills with an aptitude for verbalizing and presenting information. Prior to joining Deetken, Ruben worked as a Teaching Assistant where he taught macro-oriented economic models and engaged advanced undergraduate students on questions of economic development. Originally from Germany, Ruben came to Vancouver after a brief work assignment in South Africa, where he focused on development cooperation.
Ruben likes to make use of his spare time to meet people and connect with his friends. He also loves playing the guitar and enjoys exploring nature, either on bike or on foot.
